Not sure it will stay like this guys, it might be going in for paint v.soon. I know this may not be a popular choice . I wanted to see what the carbon finish looked like on the car first, and assess the fit. I bought this bonnet with the intention of it being painted as i only really want the vent detail. I have been waiting for a used bonnet to come up since i started the project and this one came up at the right money

i can almost hear the thunder of Mr.G's next post in the distance ....

paint it and i shall personally kick you in the sponge.

Followed by Mr.G attaching a towrope to said sponge, and then dragging sponge and owner:)

The carbon finish is very nice guys, but it doesn't look right on the car imo. There is just too much contrast. I know it seems criminal to paint a carbon finish bonnet, but you have to realise that if i could have bought a plain fibreglass bonnet to paint i would have. Modifying cars is a very personal thing and not everyone will agree - ever, the carbon bonnet is just not the direction that i wanted to go with the car. If it were then i would have bought a different body kit and different wheels etc, etc..
