finally got all the bits together to enable the headunit to play my usb sticks. first i needed a media box which converts the digital files on usb and sd cards to analogue so can be played through my unit, nexy problem was powering it as it runs off 230v que next bit of kit my 300w power inverter spent most the day today wiring it all in and hiding the headunits monster loom. Also fitted a 12v socket in the boot area as my ignition button replaced the standard one
here are a few pics no its all in.
the bits ready and waiting
Moster headunit loom
glovebox cut out and carpeted ready to house the inverter
hideaway unit now properly fixed under passenger seat
inverter all in and ready to go
finally not the best pic but the media box in and ready
few other things to add, brake pads and coilovers should be here by wednesday

brake pads and coilovers arrived today
they are only the basic dampers so arent damping adjustable only height but due to teins increased prices i settled on these. they should still do a great job on the handling tho
and with that comes a bit more bad luck - as soon as i have finished the inverter/media box set up my dvd player decides to suddenly stop working. i now have it in bits at work to try and reset the lense, fingers crossed will have it sorted by friday

well the headunit is in and another years insurance is sorted also added tinted side repeators and led bulbs and i had a carbon TRD badge for the mr2 which is now on the dash in the corolla.
gotta say the headunit is awsome it looks way more modern than the last one and is 90% touch screen so has no display at all until the screen is out
Headunit
Side repeators - Clear
Tinted - its only subtle but looks better in real life
TRD Badge
Random pic i thort looked cool

Its Been a while since i posted some up dates so here goes. not much has really happened with the car but the addition of a HID kit and a lot of elbow grease with the wax and polish has really freshened the car up
Standard "Xenon white" replacment bulbs
HID "White"
LED White Sidelights
Standard Main beam with HID dipped beam
Found some stickers with my MR2 bits so after a quick clean this mornin i had a play
TRD Logo
Tein man on boot and Logos above each side repeater "advan style"
Nice and Shiny now
