MR2 is goin back to standard and being sold once its painted mate.
corolla is gonna cost me a fortune in january so here is another one of my cheap quick mods
i changed the idicator bulbs for the chrome ones and i gotta say it was a difficult job but worth it. the grille bumper and headlights all had to come off just to change the bulbs >
also started makin a way of storing my usb sticks so they arnt flying round the glovebox

well im glad to say i no longer have to worry about servicing again for another 10,000 miles or so.
just collected it and it broke my heart handing over £200 of hard earned cash for what seems like just an oil change and a ink stamp
still its thrown up a few things that need attention mainly braking issues but also alternator belt os nearly knackered
So my next step for the car is tax and mot in two weeks
then more hard saving for wheels coilovers and new brakes all round

corolla is now booked in for the 20th jan to have alternator belt changed, coolant sorted and diagnostics check to sort the abs and traction control issues, hopefully should see how it really performs when its sorted

tidy the bodywork up a bit as there are a few dents, also a new windscreen may be on the cards. then bring on the mods

ok another expensive week in corolla world hence why i havnt been out the last 2 weeks.
had the alternator belt changed and had the diagnostics program on it to try and sort my abs and traction control problems - que another big bill and to top it off it failed the mot today too and still got to tax it next week.
just to some up januarys spending
£180 100,000mile service
£110 alternator belt and diagnostics
£45 MOT
£115 6months Tax
To Pass the MOT i need standard headlight bulbs (already swapped) and a new steering sensor to sort abs etc out unfortunatly this is £311 plus fitting. Additional to all this other things i need to do are - New Rear Brakes, new battery, new alternator belt tensioner, change coolant.
On the plus side i am working through a bit of colourcoding inside without going too mad and i had the middle silencer removed today
