Insurance Frustration!!

Prices are getting ridiculous..........

i got mine for 1200 all mods declared on my civic only got 2 yrs no clames but my quote from my last place wanted 1400 for it standerd lol

what did you pay on your first car??? mine was 2 grand in an eg coupe.

My first car was a 1.0L VW Polo, it cost me £640 third party only!!

I payed 700 third party only on a 1.1 citroen ax

my fist car was 1990 micra cost 1300

I'm afraid you have all the bulls**t claimers to thank for those prices!
It's a daily battle for me at work at the moment trying to reason with people about their premiums!
We did a quote the other day for an 18 year old girl on a Landrover Defender and that came out at about £5000

It doesn't help with claims companies contacting people after accidents. I had a bump at the beginning of October last year. I was in a work car and got hit in the side so works insurance claimed on the other drivers. The car was repaired and that was it. Until a couple of weeks ago I had a personal injury claim company call me 3 months after the accident asking me if I wanted to claim for damages including whiplash and mental scars from the accident, they basically read off all the crap and said I was defiantly entitled to at least £3000 compensation. It's easy to see why people unnecesarily claim as I was very tempted, but Thort better of it

After a couple of hours of calling it was adrian flux who insured mine (import = nightnare)... going back to arnie's post too, Performance Direct quoted £2500 for me, a 1996 Nissan Pulsar GTi. Its only a standard 1800 crappy hatchback for christs sake.

i have got to spread the word, now everyone knows my frustration with insurance ( please dont get me started) and a few weeks back i had a quote for an s2000 and my quote came back at £3200. now i am grown up and turned 25 and it has now come down to £1600 so now i am looking at getting an s2000 once i got my 2nd years no claims ( not long to go)
