marts lude no.2 - the track lude

Nice........

decided to pull my finger out and start getting stuff done on the tracklude
so started fitting my coilovers this afternoon.
got the front on so far, will be fitting the rears tomorrow

we like shiney things

didnt get round to fitting the rears today as it was raining
so i fitted the FM shortshifter

Should be able to perform "Fast "n" Furious" changes now Mart...........as long as you don't do 27 changes down the quarter.....

i was quite suprised on how much it actually shortens the throw andy

another bit of a small update,
finished fitting the rear coilovers yesterday, cars looking a bit lower now
no pics tho
getting some rubber tonight for the slips so those will be on by the end of the week
so will take some pics then

rubbers on, slips are on, transformed the look of the car
problem is, since fitting the coilovers im getting a loud clunking noise coming from the passenger rear when going over small bumps in the road
gonna have to take a look tomorrow

How much of a camber you got on the rears Mart..........are the wheels aggresively raked in.......!!!!

got the rota's fitted with 205/55/15 BFGoodridge tyres
lowered on k-sport coilovers and fitted the spoon wheel nuts

so i gave it a bit of a clean and took a few pics

right so update time,
great sunny afternoon, doorbell rings its dom (crazy_c) with my new buckets seats
so we decided to fit them there and then
so start taking the old seats out

then suddenly this bugger apears overhead

so we think ah sod it, its only a bit of rain, so the seats are out
those with a keen eye will notice the uber rare crossover facelift centre consol with no storage box

we also decided for more weight removal so we took the carpets out and stuff while the seats were out
this is what we removed

installing the new seats, by this time the heavens really opened up with some heavy, heavy showers, thunder, lightening the works :roll: a couple of times we had to take cover inside the car, completly soaked

by the time we had finished fitting the new seats it pretty much stopped raining, prelude curse strikes again
the seats fitted

a very big thank you to dom for travelling all that way to drop the seats off for me and then giving me a hand to fit them, really apprieciated it, thanks dude
