Well bumper and arch liners arrived today and gotta say I'm a little disappointed in the state of the bumper. When I was told it had been cut for a front mount I assumed they meant behind the mesh. However it is full of holes where the number plate sits and there are screw holes where the number plate had been moved to, will get it on the car and get it polished up and see what it looks like but I think I will end up Gettin it filled and painted

after a long day of fighting seized nuts and bolts and dirty 10 year old suspension and wheel arch linings I am well on the way to having the sti fronted lowered Scooby wagon
the suspension is done and just needs the height adjusting and the wider sti front arch liners are on
heres some pics so far
standard coils compared to D2's
front before and after
rear before and after
after I finished the strip down it looks like I own a Scooby breaker
one complete wrx front and an sti front
tomorrows jobs are to fit the sti wings and bumper, then the carbon sti front lip, and replace the drop links then set the suspension

all finished finally, love the aggressive width of the car now but hate how the wheels look and how scruffy the front bumper is also the splitter needs a bit of adjusting and gotta stick the sti stickers on the fog light covers
heres a few more pics although it needs to be seen in the flesh as im struggling to capture the width
carbon sti splitter
cleaned engine bay
before and after shots
couple from the front

It's ok just not happy with how the wheels sit in the wider arches and how scruffy the bumper is

Well I've now had the suspension set up properly, height, and camber and gotta say it now drives amazing
it is low and almost catches when leaving and returning to my drive
also had the gasket on the up pipe replaced so no more blowing exhaust and although it wasn't too bad it has made such a difference

Finally got the donor car in at work for the Peugeot/subaru project so I'm about to get all replacement interior panels to swap any of mine that are scratched etc, also the thermal fuse on my cigarette socket has blown and is £50 to replace, so will be swapping that out if the donor too along with some other bits, got my eye on the sti strut brace too but think they may be using it

Ha yeah just noticed that will have to get on it
As far as the scooby goes it's mostly been maintenance, had a service, changed the filter for k&n panel and new tyres, got some silicone rad and auxillery hoses to go on when I have the cambelt done, hopefully next week.
Done a simple snorkus mod I found on one of the scooby forums too, all it means is I have removed the resonator on the air box therefore allowing the sound of the turbo and dumpvlve to come thru a bit more. And finally fItted the splitter properly, not had chance to change the damaged interior panels yet though. And am desperately trying to find some cash for new wheels
Plus I now work round the corner from Central scooby, could spell bankruptcy

HMM yeh could be dangerous that!
Could get phil to make a bit of pipework and just put a filter on there?
