well suck me beautiful

trip to kwikfit for tracking this morning (3 hour wait :( ) once done it felt ace but in the meantime i had a quiet word with the dude doing my tracking and he wazzed the rear bottom strut bolts with the windy gun, got home, quick wolf down with me chicken dinner then back out to the street and fitted the rears! woohoo

so now we are all rolling on daiyamas all round, ride is amazing, really! soooooooo shocked at how subtle it is, compared to stock it aint so different for comfort, still a little harsh but only to be expected.

for those with adjustable damping who will understand im currently running 13 clicks from softest on the front and 18 from softest on the rear. if i go any harder on the rear i think ill be in 'skipping' territory. once im happy ill put the strengthening plates back in.

for those who like pictures...

BO!

also... opened my bag with banzai in from jae and in the leaflet bumf there was a sticker that nissan dished out at jae with the catchphrase for the new 370Z, thought it very appropriate for us almera owners so banged that on too

cheers to all

a very happy tommo :)

right i noticed recently that since the coilovers i've never taken any proper pictures, like you care anyway  but today i went and washed tex as he was looking grubby, so took a blast down the bypass to the power station for some pics and a chat with security

the result, and yes i know it needs tire shine but didnt pick it up before i left...

despite rumbling wheel bearings its feeling good, few little noises and i think ive ripped another flexi apart but meh, its still good :) still needs the manifold swapping to my spare hotshot, service wouldnt go amiss either and that nismo FPR is still sat in my room. not fitting it just yet though as it pulls really strong and is still giving me a nice MPG despite the 171bhp that its giving me!

thanks for looking,

much love,

goodnight.

to quote corbs and simmo (aoc), its funny how things come back around...

Phase 1 rear lights:

im genuinely over the moon with them, funny how out-dated parts can become very cool again with the right accompanying parts :)

so here we go. yesterday my clutch shat its pants (i think) so it is now on the drive ready to be stripped down and inspected. its looking likely ill be sorting out a few niggles as well as this such as rust/numerous gaskets/possible new brakes etc etc.

"hello darkness my old friend" looks a familiar sight eh

updates next weekend

peace out. much love.
