As most of you know, I've been having a bit of bad luck with the Rex and due to one thing and another, I decided to get rid and look elsewhere for my driving thrills. :( Originally the plan was an M3. This is still something I'd like to pursue, but due to one thing and another, impending house purchase, possible change of job, and people being arses when it comes to selling and buying cars, I've decided I'm gonna keep the Rex! Better the devil you know and all that! :)

So in short, I'll be sticking around with my Jap motor, getting her sorted for next year, now I have all the parts needed courtesy of Tein UK, and I WILL be attending shows next year, and hopefully a few more meets. I will also be getting Adam and Alison to get their arses, and the Rex, in gear next year to do the same.

Hope you all have a good Christmas and New Year, and I will definitely be seeing you in the near future!!

Ciao for now!!!

You can't beat a good Wankel!!!

Glad to hear it mate, the m3 wouldn't have thrown up as many surprises to make ownership so interesting :)

To be honest, I don't think it would have been as much fun either!! There's something about having close to 280BHP and just your right foot to control it all, no electronic jiggery pokery to help, that gives me butterflies every time I drive her, even if I'm stuck in traffic!! Plus the money it would have cost me when things eventually did go wrong, which they would have, I can now put to one side for a rebuild and a few tasteful engine/power mods, nothing to major, just a safe and respectable hike to around 400BHP or so!! Will have to wait and see methinks!!

Also, the Rex is a tad more rare than an M3. I see M3's all the time, not very often I encounter anothe RX7 on the road!! Unless Adam's following me!!
