Sad day. was created by Arnie
I've come to the realisation that I can no longer justify owning two cars and a caravan, I barely drive either of them any more and I feel that the Rex would be better with someone who could make more use of her, same for the caravan. :( I have worked out that it costs me approx £3500 to keep both cars and my caravan on the road, including the rent for my garage and storage for the van. That's before any unexpected repairs, which have cost me a small fortune over the last two years!! Therefore I'm going to sell them all and buy something else. Not sure what yet, I'm leaning towards an M3 at the moment, but a Focus ST or Mazda 3 MPS are also options. As long as it's practical and has plenty of grunt I'm not really bothered about running costs. In the worst case scenario I'd still be about a grand better off with just one car by my reckoning!!!

So as a heads up, I shall be selling a diesel Focus Estate, a four berth caravan and my RX7 soon. If anyone might be interested then let me know. I shall be doing proper for sale threads as soon as I've got the Rex roadworthy again, which shouldn't be much longer I hope!!

Needs must I'm afraid. I'm looking to buy a house in the new year too so will need to cut any unnecessary expenditure by then.

How about one of the Subaru estates like the Wagon,Legacy,or Forester.....All have STi versions, and are both practical and fast......or if you want something a bit rarer, how about a Toyota Caldina.....Honda Accord Type R......Lexus Altezza.........Lexus GS300.......any Jap 4X4 would be a good coice...you may even wish to keep your Van with a 4x4....

They're all up for consideration, I've got to sell my two first and then see what my budget is. Also considered a Stagea, but I have to say, the more I look towards the M3, the more I'm turning to the Dark Side!!!!

As for the van, I only bought it for the other half, she didn't like camping so I bought a caravan. We split up a few months ago and I'm happy to stick the tent in the car and rough it!!
