Well, after seven weeks and three oil metering pumps, I'm finally getting somewhere with the Rex! As there seems to be something a bit more deep rooted than just a faulty OMP, or three as the case may be, I've decided the for sake of cost and time I'm going to fit an Apexi Power FC ECU. This will enable me to run her without an OMP, just adding two stroke to the fuel instead. This means that I should have her back within the next week and can finally get some miles under her wheels!! Just need the sunshine back again!!!

Sorry to hear about your continuing probz.......
......I take it that replacing the ECU will stop the engine automatically going into limp/safe mode........so you will always have to run on pre-mix,which isn't a bad thing,as a lot of REX owners do anyway regardless of the OMP.....hope it turns out ok...

Basically yes, the Apexi will notice the problem, inform you via the commander or the engine management light flashing a certain sequence, but won't go into limp mode! My current ECU won't run like that so I'm hopefully gonna sell it and recoup some of the money I've spent so far, along with two OMP's!!
