Cosford Airshow Sunday 12 June....

Who's up for this....???
I am going as always....it's a fantastic day out.....there will be some awesome machines in the air including the Worlds only flying Vulcan......there will be loads of display teams in the air including the Red Arrows etc......
If you have been before you will already be wanting to go back......if you have never seen an airshow you will be amazed .....theres nothing like watching and hearing the awesome power of Typhoon in a vertical climb or doing a low level pass above the crowd....

Id love to, I'll have o check my shifts, but if I'm off then count me in. Went to Waddington Airshow a few years back and it was awesome!! Also saw the Typhoon in action at the Silverstone Grand Prix a couple of years back, definitely an astounding machine!!

I'm working again!! I thought these continental shifts were gonna be great at first, but I'm finding that the weekends I want to go out, I'm working!! I just hope we get some more staff soon so we can have two operators off at once!! Not a happy bunny!

Will try to sort out whos going with who or when n Thursday,and post it on Friday....
Weather is looking a bit cloudy but dry for Sunday.....so high level stuff may be a bit more difficult to see,but hoprfully there will be some Sunny intervals....
Good news is that the Vulcan is deffo flying,so is a Typhoon,Tornado..etc
There will also be displays from the Red Arrows,and various other multi plane teams......my favorite cold war jets are also displaying...the F86 Sabre,and the old British Venom......
Loads of stuff in the air,so should be awesome......

Think everyone is going to make their own way there......
I for instance,will be going to Cosford straight from work as i have to pop in early on Sunday morning,so it seems pointless to meet back in Stafford as i only work within spitting distance of Cosford...
Think gates open around 08.30,with the first displays happening around 10.45.......plan to arrive early as the traffic can be horrendus,i have seen it backing up onto the M54...
Weather looking a bit patchy with the odd minor shower possible....but nothing that will stop anything flying....
The Weather may change considerably in the next 48 hours.....so fingers crossed for clear blue skies.....
Everyone who is going will ring each other inside to meet up.....
