My new mean machine!!

Well, after not having a daily runner since January, having to beg and borrow from my Brother and girlfriend on a near daily basis, I decided to get myself a cheap runabout! I'm currently saving up for a decent motor to have alongside the Rex, so I didn't want anything to expensive. Anyhow, this is waht I ended up with!

Allow me to introduce the Kack!!!




What can I say, she cost me all of £200, and she's a right dog!!

I won't put you through the interior, all I'll say is that it's about as tidy as the outside!! There's a few knocks and rattles, bushes and drop links probably, the stereo facia is falling out, the stereo is held in with a piece of string!! Altogether a cracking little motor!! I now have a Ratmobile to go with my Batmobile!!!

The saving grace is that she's mechanically sound, and has three months tax and test. After that's up I should be in a position to buy a decent motor and scrap the Kack!!

and they say jap motors are bad for rust, used to do warranty work for the petrol flap. cant complain at the price though.

After the clutch went on my old gti i bought a 1990 micra 1.0, that was a bit tatty to say the least. When i found a new car i was actually sorry to let it go. Theres something cool about having a daily beater and as corbs so rightly put it 'you can just bang up kerbs and shit'.

Couldn't agree more.....i love my old Daihatsu to pieces....it has no rear seats,corroded alloys,faded peeling paint,rust....it's awesome.....
You will probably grow to love your "Thrasher" in the following days......nice "Rat" styling on the Kak by the way.....good value for money as well......
