Insurance.......!!!!!!

Just had renewal quotes come in for two of my car's......the robbing ba*tards want £1077.00 for the GTR and £852.00 for the Vehi-Cross.....
Might as well pull me pants down, bend over,and roger myself....
Thats nearly two grand due in the same month......good job the other two are a bit later in the year.....
Oh well...!! thats what you get for being a JDM-Meister....

Phone them and give them some abuse. When I renewed the Stagea in september, they tried to put the premium up by £150. Ten minutes on the phone, and the premium was back to just a fiver over the previous years.

I'm sure they just try it on so that people auto-renew without haggling, and they make a big profit.

Have you tried Admiral for a multi car policy? The more cars you have, yhe morediscount you get. We're on one at home and it works out cheaper for us by miles. Just a thought!

I have my Daihatsu with Admiral.....and they are very good......but unfortunately they won't insure the Vehi-Cross because it didn't show up on their system,and the Skyline only showed up on their system as the R34 model...(i'm guessing they don't show up as they were both never officially imported)..plus the guy on the phone was also unsure as the car has a lot of mods.....

I work for an insurance company (dont shoot me!) and unfortunately premiums are on the up this year! Thanks to all those ambulance chasers and uninsured folk!

Although my renewal came through last week and mine's gone down!! woohoo, We're paying around £170 a month for the RX-7, MX-5 and Civic on an Admiral mult-car, not bad considering I'm 25 and Add's only 23!!!

Fair enough!

i dont think admiral like imports or modded cars, when i insured the swift with them they offered me a multicar policy but as soon as i said the corolla was modified they wernt intrested, they did me a very good price on the swift tho, the corolla is up for renewal in june so am hoping i can get that premium down a bit too

I believe most insurance has gone up this year regardless of your no claims as there are that many people driving round with no insurance and having accidents that they have had to put premiums up to refill the fund they have that covers events that happen when people with no insurance cause accidents, to make sure all of us that have insurance get our claims paid.

My brother has his stilo insured with admiral, last year he paid about £360, this year it has gone up to over £400 and that was the cheapest quote by far!

Thats not bad.......I think modded GTR's bring out the worst in insurance companies though........also just a windscreen for the Vehi-Cross can cost upto £1700.00.....ouch...!!!!!!
