FORUM RANKS - PLEASE READ was created by Pabz
I decided to have a look at the forum ranks which relate to the amount of posts you have made. When I got thinking I decided it needed a different format and the number of posts needed for each rank required some adjustment.
Having pondered over it for some time I decided that it might be a good idea to have something japanese themed. It took me sometime to come up with the final structure but i think it will be a good addition to the forum. I have done some research around the subject of japanese names and there meanings and although some have more than one meaning the ones I have picked generally fit into what I want to achieve.
The aim is to assign a Japanese name to each posting rank reached that has some meaning and sense to the members standing or commitment to the club. It is not meant to be derogatory to any person or culture, the aim is to create a sense of belonging, achievement, commitment and pride with in the club. Not to say it isn't already there but I believe it is something different!
So below is the amount of posts required to reach each level/rank/name within the club:
0 posts = Arata San
100 posts = Shiori San
250 posts = Yuri San
500 posts = Kyou San
1000 posts = Katsu Sama
2000 posts = Makoto Sama
3000 posts = Shinobu Sensei
4000 posts = Ryuunosuke Sensei
5000 posts = Takeshi Sensei
Just looking at the name really doesn't mean anything so whilst doing the research I recorded the meanings of each of the names which should give you all an idea of why they have been selected for each particular rank.
I will discuss this in the following post.

Ok here is a description and definition of the selected names which should give you an idea of why they are selected at each posting rank.
Firstly, the use of the word San, Sama and Sensei:
San - This is the most neutral and famous title and is used in most situations whilst addressing people. The only time it may not be used is in formal situations where it may be concidered "not polite enough" - So adding this to the first four ranked levels of posting is meant to signify a general commitment and acceptance of someone within the club.
Sama - This is a more polite variant of san and is used in formal situations and in letters etc but would be too polite for general conversational situations - Adding this to the title of the proceeding three posting ranks has a meaning of seniority within the club from a formal point of view.
Sensei - This is a title generally given to teachers, doctors and those of a higher education. Usually someone from whom you would receive a service or instruction and guidance - Attaching this to the title of the highest posters within the club is meant to signify someone with experience, someone who has been around for a while and some one who will always provide assistance and guidance to those who need it[/colour]
Now for the names:
Arata - Means "Fresh, New" and is a masculine name.
Shiori - Means "Bookmark" and is a feminine name.
Katsu - Means "Victory" and is a masculine name.
Yuri - Means "Trust" in japanese and is a masculine name.
Takumi - From japanese "Artisan or Skilled" and is a masculine name.
Kyou - From japanese " cooperation, capital, village or apricot" and is a unisex name.
Makoto - Means "Sincerity" and is a unisex name.
Ryuunosuke - From japanese (Ryuu) "Dragon" or (Ryuu) "Noble, prosperous" combined with (No) "of" & (suke)"Forerunner, Herald" and is a masculine name.
Shinobu - Means "endurance" and is a unisex name.
Takeshi - Means "Military, Warrior" and is a masculine name.
So looking at the main meanings of the names you should see what each name should mean at each level. Some of the explanations are missing the japanese script writing so may seem to not make sense where there meanings are derived from.
It is not to encourage people to spam post or anything like that because you can post as much as you like if you always have something to say but reaching a certain level should hopefully mean something particularly if you are always active within the club and the forum.
The profound meanings that I hope people will pull from this exercise will hopefully be understood and embraced!
If anyone has any feedback or other ideas or anything at all to add, then please reply to this post! Always happy to hear it!

ok, looked at it. Because the admin title is set by the forum owner to people whom they trust the number of posts to qualify is "zero". If it was set to any number of posts then anyone would qualify for it in theory although the permissions would have to be set manually.
So the only way for you to have that title would be to have a separate account for admin purposes.
Edit* I can override this and give you the title by chnaging your user info!
Welcome Admin San!
