Site behavour 'authentication required' FIXED was created by Ikarus
Anyone else getting an 'authentication required' dialogue box every time you visit the site? followed by an 'authentication failed' message? Started a few weeks back.

Tried in IE, Firefox and Chrome. Same every time, and from any PC.

Seems odd, i tried on 3 different pc's now same every time. maybe it's something to do with my profile.

Happens to me at complete random, sometimes (like this visit) not a peep, other times, it's everytime I open a link...

Ive not had the problem, when does it show the error ? when looging in ? does it show an error when viewing as a guest ? can you get a screen shot of the message.

Frequency depends on which pc i'm at, this time (work) it's during loggin only, from home its almost every page visit..

Thanks for the screen shot, helped solve the problem ( i think )
The CSS file was pointing to a link on the ftp site for some reason.

You might need to refresh the page ( Ctrl+ F5 ) or clear your internet history.
