Driving under difficult conditions.........!!!!! was created by Mr. G
As post states i had to use my years of driving experience to get me out of a rather tricky situation earlier this afternoon........
I was returning home from work at approximately 5.30pm when i glanced over at oncoming traffic and noticed an awesome apparition approaching.....a grey R35 GTR.......i was so taken aback by this marvel that i instantly lost the ability to drive properly due to a number of factors......
1.The shock alone of such an awesome beast.....!!!!!!
2.Rubber necking and swerving all over the place....
3.The sudden and uncontrollable stiffy that had manifested itself at such a sight......i had to use all my road skills to combat the afforementioned visitor and to keep it from getting entangled in the steering wheel preventing proper control of the vehicle.......
I was however saved by the appearence of a "well chaved Saxo" following some way behind the GTR........this had quite the opposite effect of the GTR........thus saving me.....but on the other hand making me feel positvely ill........

Andy
I've now seen two on the road since the weekend (I had not seen one previously). Did they become available from Nissan August 1st??
One in my local town, which I couldn't believe as there are no nice cars where I live. It was a beautiful white and further south a Silvery / Chrome one which of course also looked fabulous.
The UK may be contracting >5% but Nissan sales must be bucking the trend !!

One turned up in southend saturday night and i had a long chat with the driver. He was very down to earth and told me he was a lottery winner (i wanted to ask how much but thought it would have been rude). he said he has put a 10k deposit on the V spec which comes out soon and instead of the 55K for the one he has now the V spec is an extra 50k so 105k in total
We parked side by side and compared the size of the cars, i couldn't work out why his only had rear seats without leg room and mine has proper rear seats with plenty of room, baring in mind they are the same length. We soon worked out that when looking at the depth of the dash his was twice as deep as mine because the engine had been pushed further back due to the transmission being at the rear of the car making it far better balanced. For the amount of room you get in the back Nissan may as well of made it a two seater.
