Got back in one piece. If you get the chance to go take it even if you dont take your car you can watch at some of the eventful corners and have entertainment all day long.

Me and sue did one lap each very steadily after seeing 3 cars written off before hand. There was a nice BMW convertible that came with us and he wrote it off after just a couple of laps, he wasnt insured (as nobody is) plus he had to pay 3.5K before they would let him leave the track for damage to the armco. Also saw a Honda type R written off in front of me, i spoke to the english owner and he said he was trying to move over to the right so two cars could go by and he caught the right front wheel in the small grass verge which pulled him into the armco the bounced accross the track and into the opposite armco.Also saw a couple or GT3's with bad damage a lambo with no front end and a 350gt like mine smashed up.

Unlike the germans i didnt take pictures of the smashed cars as i felt it was wrong to do so.

I guess if like me you just want to cruise around at a quikish pace then its very safe however if you go there to race then expect the worse.

Glad you had a good time Tom.......think it's one of those legendary places every petrol head has to go.........i too would just cruise round.........heard too many horror stories from other people i know who have been either on bikes or car's to do any serious speed on there......awesome........think i would go just for the atmosphere and the trip........
