Rav 4 (try again)

Ha Ha thought for a moment 4x4's were banned

On the advice of Tony and Andy i bought my wife a Rav 4 to run around in and pull a small horse box from time to time.
What do you reckon ?? I picked it up today


Its a 2.0 ltr GX 54k miles with full toyota service history. Lady (50ish) had owned it for 4 1/2 years said she hardly used it as her husband normally drove her around and the car was pretty much left in the garage. It has everything including electric sun roof, air con, cd, etc the inside is mint and just two small scratches on the passenger door. All that for £2,600 Thanks for the heads up lads, good choice.

Looks stunning Tom........ive got a silver \"Freesport\".....same rims as on yours......these thinks are very overlooked.....bscause they have a mono-coque construction they ride and handle more like a \"Hatch\" than a 4x4....and although they have no low ratio box,the first gear is still low enough to pull up inclines etc.........it does however have \"Diff-Locks\" which makes it just as capable as most 4x4's...........a friend of mine has a custom off roader and used to teach off road driving,and he said they used them at his training school...........on the road they will embarrass the \"Bigger Boys\" with a nippy turn of speed........i love these things and would not hesitate in buying another......and i know what i'm talking about as i have driven stacks of 4x4's.........MONSTA......

i now have 2 people to hound about transplanting a 3S-GTE GT4/MR2 Turbo Engine into their rav4's...... RAV GT4... he he he

She loves it, like andy says its pretty nippy. She hated driving my car because she was always worried about kerbing it.
Its nice to have her own car to look after as she has always used either my car or my van before. Its good for me as well because now when i get into the car its still got 1/2 a tank of fuel in instead of running on fumes
