Another Newbie...

Hi, im new....

Names Nick, i think a few on here may remember me, also know as Nicko_12345? Well i no Tommo remembers me.

I used to drive a Astra coupe that looked like this:


I then sold it and got myself a Astra GSI with about 240bhp which looked like this:


That is now sold and is being picked up saturday.

Recently losing my dad he left my older brother his mr2 in his will, as my brother lives in france and bulds surfboards for a living the mr2 would be pretty useless to him so he has kindly let me keep it

So here it is:


So far i no its a MR2 G-limited and was imported into this country in 1994 and was made in 1990, Its RWD which is VERY new to me and is taking some getting used to. Already replaced the alternator on it which was a pig of a job but now its running sweet, looking forward to having it as a daily drive after saturday

pleasure to have you on board mate, very nice looking mr2. You'll get used to it soon enough and i am sure it will be a great daily driver for you!

ay oop! now then son. good to see you finally saw sense and joined us on the slanty eyed side for those completely oblivious our man henty had the silver kitted punto on staffs modified back in the day. gotta be said tho you did a splendid job on the astras so im sure the MR2 will turn out top notch knowing your keen eye for perfection! now, im sure super toyota statistic man tony will be along soon to point you in the right direction of stats and book times/ figures so you know what your playing with.

one las thing mate, i was really sorry to hear about your old man, i did post on staffs modded but didnt know if you got it or not. you'll do him proud

enjoy your stay mate, your welcome to join us out at some shows and meets this year, its always good to have fresh cars and faces for the club. itll be quiet here til the meets and shows start but thats when the fun begins ;D

very nice mate, i have seen you or should i say ur number plate around stafford a fair bit.

the mr2 looks cool you should really enjoy it, they are so much fun.

Cheers everyone, im going to keep a standard sort of look to the mr2 as my dad was always moaning about me and cars! but there will be some nice touches starting with some wheels hopefully

well subtle mods my be a better option, deviating to far from standard isn't always the best choice! A nice set of wheels is always an important mod. Sure it will look great mate whatever you decide to do.
