17 / 19 mm tags
PAR were also informed about this once i found out all the details and now they make rods either for 17mm or 19mm bearings (need to specify when ordering).

As i'm in a helpfull mood, and good at web searching. ( this might be helpfull ? )
The rods and crank aren't any different between the two motors but the rod bearing shells are. The Gti-R has 19mm wide rod bearings while other SR20's have 17mm wide bearings. The 19mm bearing has more surface area and a higher load rating. You can use 17mm bearings or 19mm bearings with any SR20 crank. The bearing locating tang (tab) is in a different spot for the Gti-R bearing so you would have to modify the rod if you go with a different bearing size than it originally used. All the JWT rods have slots for both types of bearing tangs.
