Because work is sending me to America with only 3 days notice, the only flights they could get me are Business Class

serviced the gti. what a pain in the arse. dropeed the oil first, and while it was draining started on the plugs/leads. rubber gromit dropped out of my plug socket, spent half hour trying to fish it out as it has a split in it, and it had opened and settle in the bottom, so i couldnt even get the socket on to take the plug out. argh. fuel filter was an absolute bar steward too. ended up cutting the lines rather than prizing them off. now its a tight fit, next time i service it ill be fitting a new btm fuel line from the filter to the first hard pipe. all in all though, not too bad. got some brand new KV85's on it, BKR6EY plugs, 15w40 and a new fuel filter. had to use a normal SR20 one as i couldnt get hold of a 300ZX TT filter this morning. not drove it yet, just warmed it up, switched off letting it settle now so i can check the oil. then its off to the jet wash for some cleaning. tire shine, then were done. huzzah!
