Very much enjoyed the show. It was great to see a good turn out and a good club stand. Shouts to quiz master noodle for the time and effort of organising the quiz, and kudos for controlling the rif raf

Also can't wait to see the vehicross viGeo yo!

The judges didn't bat an eye at the car to be honest Tom, not 'showey' enough i guess. Once again Muddy's red 350z cleaned up the best Nissan class. I think because i have modelled my car with subtlety it's easy to be over looked.

I did end up staying and put it in for audio though later and they liked that, they had a good chat and took down the reg etc, so it was in the running there. Unfortunately i had an issue during playback, which i think hindered my chances and there was only one award for audio - close but no cigar. I was actually really encouraged by this as i wasn't sure if my system could really compete with all the 'big' systems

You were robbed mate...........that red 350 was not my cup of tea........it was even rolling around on "Knacker-Bangs" for Christ's sake...........some people may have loved it,but not me........you should have picked up something for the install alone......not knocking the judging,it is afterall very subjective to the person doing it,but i have judged at shows before,and have to admit i spent more time deliberating over each car than seemed apparent when your car was being viewed.....think you are right mate,your car is so well balanced and subtle,that it looks very OEM in place's as opposed to some of the more "in your face" build's on display.
It would be a boring world if we all agreed on the same car's,and i'm sure the decisions reflected the Judge's honest opinions,but i do honestly think you should have been awarded at least one category.....nevermind.....try again next time....it is a stunning car dude........

Thanks Andy, i'm not that disapointed - getting far too old for that. I'm very happy with the car, and as you say, it was only it's first outing - many more to come
