Well - i live in leicester - and their are a few around my way - although i have to say they aren't very tastefully done - apart froma chick in loughborough who owns a black GT with Black and Chrome wheels - i think they could be Rota's - yet you wouldn't see it about in stafford much -

Hiya mate........engines looking nice...
.....be carefull \"meshing\" the turbo dude......you may be letting yourself in for trouble.......the filter can help prevent \"water splash\" and pieces of debris from entering the induction tract.........turbo will get coated in crud eventually...........in theory you will also lose power as you will be sucking in hot air from right next to the engine.......any gains made by losing the filter and intake pipe will be lost eventually to this extra heat.
Some drag cars run unfiltered turbos.......but these are trailered to and from events and only run in ideal weather conditions for a short period of time.
It's bad enough to run with stainless mesh filters....never mind none at all.......be carefull mate.........take my advice and get an Apex'i or K&N.......engines should really have filtered air.......the old addage of \"whatever gets through will be super heated and burnt by the engine\" does'nt allways hold true.........

i have a hks but its utter shit...you can see through it,and when on throttle it sucks in so its basically like sucking through a peice of paper, meshing it is probly the best mod ive done, and the manifold.im going hybrid soon anyway:woohoo:

Your choice mate........but be carefull........you should still have a filter on the inlet to your Turbo/Engine..... having a Hybrid Turbo makes no difference......it just means that the Turbo will flow more air more quickly and usually take more boost pressure due to a nunber of differing factors involved with the manufacture of the Turbo ie, compressor wheel size, blade angle, bearing type etc......ask someone like Steve from Silverline Racing, who builds engines for a living......it's up to you.......modifiying cars is all about choice........if you are happy with this mod stick with it.......
