advice on a pulsar was created by mad_matt
hello i no ian aka raceworks and thought i would sign up.

basicly have have brought a pulsar needs abit of work doin to it so i thought i would ask here as i can see there are a few pulsar owners on here. at the moment i am going to build it up for the strip but obviously firstly i want to make sure its all running smoothly first.

rite firstly just going to give it a good service fillters etc, new oil going to get some new ht leads and plugs.

so what plugs and leads shall i go for.

is it worth gettin some magnecore leads or are the only for big power. and what sort of plugs shall i go for.

also thinkin about a front mounted intercoller any recomendations?

and last but not least lowering?? as it sits about 2 foot off the ground it needs to be slammed i would like to go for tiens as i no they are good but i no ian can get d2's so what shall i do.

all coments welcome

cheers

Looks Clean :) more pics please ....

As for leads,
The standard ones are ment to be the best,

Plugs, Depends what boosty your going to be running
If one bar (14psi ) then go for NGK-8s

Front Mount
Check this out,

correct me if im wrong but all pulsars were imports anyway with nissan bringing in 70 (guess) for the uk market and badging them as sunny's. however all pulsars are sunnys and everything should fit (bar the obvious transmision/engine/suspension).

tommo.

rite as me colt is runin nicely for the moment i am gettin ready to get my pulsar sorted.

so just wanted to ask a quick question. and its gunna sound really fookin stupid but im sure you wont take the piss to much!! ;D

rite im sittin in the car. idle is fine. i put it in first start to drive get to about 1.5k revs and it feels like its missfirein. as the revs go higher.
as the revs go higher my turbo gauge starts decreasin to - side, -1,-2,-3,-4 and so on till it gets to -7. then i get to about 3, 3.5k then all the sudden the turbo gauge switches to + and the heavens open up and the thing feels like its guuna take off so basicly it feels fine after about 3 3.5k.
it does the same weather the car is movin or stand still.

anyone no what it is? am i being extreamly stoopid and missin somet very easy?

thank you!
