Shakespeare's RWYB Dates

RUN WHAT YA BRUNG... Putting YOU in the hot seat!

How many times have you said to yourself 'that looks easy - I could do that!'. Well, now here's your chance to find out because Shakespeare County Raceway is giving you a unique opportunity by grabbing some interactive viewing from the hot seat of your street legal road car or from the saddle of a contemporay sports bike in any of our Run What Ya Brung Public Track Days all at an affordable price, and in the safe confines of a professionally operated drag strip.

After each timed run, drivers/riders are presented with a 'Certificate of Speed' giving important information like reaction times to the green light, timing data from start to finish alongside your opponents times and speeds.

All vehicles are welcome; Minis, Trucks; Super Cars and Bikes. All are welcome to race against the clock including Modifieds, Imports, Circuit and Oval Track Race Cars are all welcome to participate too. Clubs, gatherings, events within events; these can be arrange too. Whatever the occasion, whatever the event, if its got wheels - you can race it at one of Europe's quickest and fastest quarter mile drag strips.

i want to go and really wanna run the corolla but this year everyone needs to wear a helmet now no matter what speed the car is

September 16th/18th - NSRA Hot Rod Drags (for pre ’73 cars only)
October 1st/2nd - Public Track Day RWYB Ford Fever Weekend & Gamblers Race
October 15th/16th - Public Track Day RWYB Weekend & Gamblers Race
October 29th/30th - Halloween Bonfire Burn-Up RWYB Weekend & Gamblers Race
*Pro Street Drag Series and Honda Drag Series dates to be added in the new year.

If you don't want to buy a helmet for just one event then we can hire you one out for a small fee. After all the rule is for your safety should anything happen.

Anyone up for any RWYB'S......I may run the VX for a laugh...or the GTR to see what it will run at Shakey's even though it has it's Launch switched off and is down on power....
It would be nice to beat the club record before Minty and Tony blitz it with their new builds...

Im up for a day out Mr G, i wont run the zed as its just not that fast - definitely up for tagging along in the zed though

We'll try and sort something,i know a few of thr others will be up for it.....Take the Zed up the strip....you'll love it it's a right rush....

Just caught this thread the other day. Looks like you guys might in interested in paying a visit to the track sometime soon. Our next RWYB's are Oct 1/2; Oct 15/16 & Oct 29/30. All of these days are Public Track Day's where club's such as your selves are quite welcome to come along and particiapte in your own in house RWYB Time Trials or take part in the track's Bracket Gamblers Race.
