Atherstone Vehicle Show 2007

Anyone fancy coming to the Atherstone Vehicle Show on Sunday 16th September and displaying your motors? You can have a club area if you like. doesn't cost anything. I'm overseeing the modidifed section as my company is co-sponsoring the event and would love to get some more jap motors to the show.

The show started with just classic cars but has now grown to have a modified section as well. There will be approx 400 cars in total. Some of the cars that will be at the show are: Jag XKR from the James Bond film Die Another Day, original Ford GT40, Imprezza rally cars, racing truck, jap cars, Mygale Formula 4 car, stock cars, classic cars, modded vw campers, the list goes on and there may be a few more surprises yet. There has been a maclaren F1 car and a Jag Lemans cars at previous shows - it's a bit mad seeing them drive around a cobbled market square!

It's based around the Market Square and there will be various events throughout the day along with the mandatory burger vans, music etc.

FYI Atherstone is based just off the A5 between Tamworth and Nuneaton, J10 M42, 15 minutes from the NEC. PM me for any further info

can a stand be arranged for say 10 cars?

no probs, i'll reserve a good spot for the club. have you got any banners or flyers? and will you want some room to set up a basecamp gazebo or anything?

i'll post up maps and stuff either later today or tomorrow morning.

show's gonna be even better now!

we may be able to sort some quick flyers our but not got the bannes some fool (that would be me) got it lost,

as for the gazebo we sort of lost that one at JAE in the storm lol so its just gonna be us and the cars mate

LOL!! saw some film of the old jae storm, looked a bit mad. i didn't make jae this year, despite having a hotel booked 6 months in advance:( i would have been on the lexus owners club stand, oh well. think these regional forums are defo the way forward!

yes indeed as we get a good variety of cars rather than just variations of the same lol

stand sorted, well more of a reserved space for the club really, i'll post up a layout so you all know where to park up, also a map so you know how to get here!

i'll make sure you've got my moby number as well, just in case!
