OK people in an effort to get people sorted, I will organise the tickets for shows!
I am sure you are al aware that to get a club stand you have to book a certain amount of tickets, and to get the best price you have to book in advance. For this to happen someone has to pay up front the total amount necessary to secure a stand. So as an example:
If we want to go to Rising Sun as a club and on our own stand we made need to book a stand for 10 cars at a price of £15 per person at the "earlybird" price.! So, to book that someone needs to pay £150 to secure the stand.
In the past people have been out of pocket by people not turning up to the show or just not paying for their ticket. To counter this, all persons wishing to book to come to a show must pay for their ticket up front, before the booking is made or any tickets are ordered. I am not being out of pocket by any amount of money because people drop out at the last minute.
Here are the rules:
If you can't be firm on whether you are coming and don't want to pay then don't book a space, if you can come in the end, buy a ticket at the gate.
If you book a space and an earlybird ticket, you pay up front for the ticket. Each show will have a payment deadline.
If you book a space and buy a ticket and cannot attend the show then you lose your money as it will be no refundable. If you can sell your ticket to someone who wants to go and hasn't booked then that's fine.
If we do not have enough interest to book a club stand and we are approaching the final booking payment date, the booking will be dropped and we will not attend as a club. Those that wish to go will have to buy a ticket at the gate of the show and camp in the public camping area.
These rules are to make the show booking process easier and to make sure nobody is out of pocket. There is a large amount of hassle that comes with booking a show and I am sure if you ask Tommo he will tell you!!
I put a large amount of time and effort into the site for little or no reward or thanks for that matter and I am going to put time and effort into organising shows and be out of pocket.
The rules are here to make attending shows as easy as possible so please read them and understand them
Comments are welcome and encouraged!

Think we should have a gaining interest thread about the shows, a list of the shows and the names following. I probably wont be going rising sun. Rotorstock, JAE ofcoarse are definates.

Each show will have it's own thread and list to gauge interest in the show. I am still not decided on whether Rising Sun is a good idea this year!
