New Daily Driver...?

Think i'm going to change my daily driver in the next 2-3 months.......and as it takes age's to find the time to look for the right car,im looking for opinions.....i fancy a small 4x4....don't need good off road ability as it's only for shopping etc........what do people think.............also it has to be cheap...ie 2-3k........

Why a 4x4 if you dont mind me asking Andy? Which car are you replacing, the colt or the yaris?

The Colt.........just getting a bit bored with it..........driven a lot of 4x4 but never owned one..........just fancy something different for a change.........also better for getting the dog around in........

What about one of those suzuki vitaras? Small enough but big enough if you get what I mean. A friend had the wide arched one and it looked mean as! I think his was a 1.6 and it wasnt underpowered, the power was right for the size/weight. Although I'd probably go for the diseasel.

Yeah, that's sort of the way i think im going to go.........either a Vitara or a Rav-4.....might even look at a Shogun Pinin........

tbh that was gonna be my suggestion a vitara or the rav 4 , i know someone who had 3 rav 4s and loved them might be worth a look in

Rav4 or vitara not very good machines mate unfortunatly the 4x4 is one thing the japs not good at.

I know they are not as good as a Defender or Disco off-road....(i have been off road in Both)...but it's only for a runabout to get the shopping and take the Dog/Mountain bike up the Chase/lanes..........To be honest i have spent all this morning doing a bit of research and the Rav-4 seem's to be universally acknowledged as an ultra-reliable vehicle.....and this is all im really after......not too fussed about off-road ability with low ratio gearbox/suspension setting's etc............My brother-in-laws Range/LandRovers are ok but i find the Discovery a bit wayward on the road (Although it is a good tool for the horse trailers over the fields).........the worst obstacle it will ever encounter is a sleeping policeman..........also i fancy the rag-top for the summer.........

im thinkin a shogun pinin tbh i aint to keen on the Rav 4s and they can look cool such as the one up the radford

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha .........Dude......Im ugly for a bloke.........Don't think anyone would mistake me for a girl..............Mind you with a tight T-Shirt and flexing me biceps whilst wearing some snug leather strides,standing next to a Vitara..!!!!.....point taken........Think i'll go for a Shogun or Rav 4.......
